You are a great director, very personable, sociable, on top of emails & info. I can’t say enough about how wonderful you are/have been for this program & my kids!!! I have never had such a great experience w/ an organization for kids’ programs, especially as ambitious as the camp programs – amazingly well organized, planned, staffed, managed, etc. You are the one who inspired me to keep sending my kids on these trips, even though it was a strain on my budget as a single working mom. My kids benefited so much from their experiences, all I can do is thank you a million times over for all your help over the years!

I cannot thank you enough for the incredible experience you provided for my students. They continue to talk about the adventures they had and what they learned. You have a wonderful way with kids and know just how to keep them engaged. I look forward to doing this again next year!

Your staff were both amazing leaders for this class trip. They showed talent, skill, expertise, sensitivity, and genuine interest in working with the students in my class. They succeeded in bringing about deep and, what I believe will be, long lasting change to my class. Through the skillful work of Annie and Lindsey, the class ended the 4 day trip with more respect, more social awareness, and a deeper sense of appreciation for themselves and each other.

I have had the good fortune to work with Deb and David for the past 12 years. What started as a couple hours of cooperative adventure team work activities with my students has grown over the years to include winter ecology on snow shoes, a springtime overnight filled with outdoor science and amazing experiences I never could have given my students without Deb and David’s knowledge and skill working with kids in the outdoor setting. I look for any opportunity I can to bring them into my classroom to work with my students! When my former students come back to visit me, it is these outdoor experiences that have stayed with them over the years.
Most recently, my 4th graders were able to spend three days learning about life as a pioneer in the mid-1800s. Our time together culminated in a hands-on Pioneer Day where kids panned for gold, drilled holes to make buttons, chopped wood, churned butter, pressed apples, fried Johnny cakes, tried their hands at lassoing and playing with pioneer games and toys. Seeing the supplies pioneers had, hearing the stories about their lives and using the tools they had brought this part of our history to life for them. I’m already looking forward to our Pioneer Day next year!

Deb follows the highest standards of safety and care for participants on her trip programs. Even more importantly, however, Deb can inspire and guide a group of people to find connections and strength within themselves they didn’t know they had. Her professionalism, expertise, and creativity are second to none and enable fun, meaningful experiences!”

Thank you for being such a good guide. You taught me alot about the animals and geology. I especially liked the “nurse rocks”.

My experiences go far beyond learning low impact backpacking techniques or understanding plant life in the Colorado ecosystem or participating in rock climbing and ropes courses. The importance of teamwork, respect, laughter, beauty, curiosity, patience, and silence are a few of the things I’ve learned.

I know from the experience of our own family what an important part your camps played in teaching our children how to love the Earth and how to find their place in it. It seems that words are not enough to convey our appreciation and respect for the quality of the program you put together. When I think about how important it has been to us, and multiply it times all the children you have touched over these years, it boggles the mind.
